The Antelope are making their way north, the Sand Hill Cranes and Bluebirds are here. Soon we’ll smell the the heaven scent of Cushion Phlox. The greenhouses are almost planted and we’re looking forward to planting onions in our new allium beds. We’ll be planting soil blocks this next week with all of the cole crops that will go in the new outside beds.
We have made offers of internships to a few applicants and look forward to reviewing more applications. We are searching for 2-4 interns this year. This is a year of growth for the farm. We’ll be adding more hoophouses, outside beds, vegetable production area and cool storage. We’ll be expanding to 5 farmers markets.
